I got shuffl'd into the same group!

Is this expected behavior?

Hi there! Great question. With a random shuffl algorithm and smaller number of users in a channel, it certainly is possible (while low odds) that repeat groups occur.

Given all possible combinations, it is likely when using random logic that repeat groups will occur before all possible unique combinations get delivered. As is the case, it's up to random chance on how soon it happens.

As teams desire meeting new people and exploring all the new possible connections, New Match Shuffl goes beyond the random shuffl algorithm to include smart shufflin' logic and new use cases! Available for Shuffl Pro teams.
